Meet our Teaching Team
Angela Strynkowski 200 E-RYT, 500 RYT, B.A.
Co-Creator/Co-Director of Teacher Training
Interdisciplinary Yoga Instructor
Angela combines her studies, experience, and understanding of the Ashtanga Yoga System, Jivamukti Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Intergral Yoga, Bhakti Yoga (Devotional Yoga), and Jnana Yoga (Intellectual Yoga) to encourage and challenge her students physically, mentally and spiritually. There is an element of focus and concentration well-balanced with lightness, joy and a sense of humor. Practitioners are guided to experience and live their personal understanding of YOGA… UNION.
Angela has been on a path of self discovery/self study since she was a child. She is an interdisciplinary Bhakti Yogi (Devotional Yogi). Angela’s first teachers were her family. They were role models for Union with the “Divine/Creation/Self”. After a few years of “suffering” from an Eating Disorder Angela discovered Hatha Yoga (Physical Yoga), while studying for a Bachelors Degree in Psychology.
Angela has had the honor of practicing with many Masters of Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga through numerous retreats, workshops, classes and Teacher Trainings. Some of the more well known Masters of these disciplines that she has studied with include: Sri K Pattabhi Jois, Tim Miller, Richard Freeman, James Butkevich, David Life, Sharon Gannon, Swami Bua, Amba Stapleton, and Don Stapleton of Nosara Institute. Angela has studied Sanskrit with Manorama from Sanskrit Studies and chanting with many Bhakti Yogis such as Krishna Das and Bhagavad Das. Angela also attributes her understanding of Yoga and the mind to her literary studies of many Buddhist and Yogic texts.
Her strong attraction to nature and solitude have influenced her to develop an in depth practice of countless month long travel experiences over the last 16 years. The Himalayas and the South West of the USA have experientially developed Angela through combining the exposure of nature with meditation, Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, chanting, hiking, climbing, swimming in Mountain lakes, soaking in Natural Hot Springs, sky diving, snorkeling, kayaking and reading. Angela has been teaching Yoga going on her 11th year... She has led YogAdventure Retreats to Costa Rica and The Caribbean Island of St. John. Beautiful "upstate" New York and the majestic and magical Sedona, Arizona. She enjoys bringing people together and Travel...so naturally Yoga, Travel and inner and outer adventure had to go together.
She has counseled people with Eating Disorders. She strongly believes food is medicine for the Body and the Soul. She has studied herbalism and nutrition since she was a teen. Both formally in college and "informally." She believes Yoga and Meditation are Medicine for the Body, Mind and Soul. Because of these beliefs and personal experiences, Angela will to continue her studies and she will continue to encourage people to find Well-Being and True Wellness of Body, Mind and Spirit!
A Jewel in the Lotus is a collective effort to create a cozy space

Through her line of products, she aims to teach others about the powers of herbs and essential oils on their multiple levels. She strives to be proactively sustainable as an individual as well as through her company endeavors. Above all, her goal is to assist in healing as many as possible; from the physical body to the soul, to the threatened planet we currently live on.
Pandora's Products Core Values:
Hope: We recycle as often as possible because we hope the planet can heal, and are saddened by the amount of waste we create. Grace: We keep our products affordable for the public without devaluing what we create, because we are graced with an ability to help heal. Ancient Wisdom: We believe many other countries follow a path better than our own because they are following the old ways and laws of nature.

Jessica Saraswati, RYT-200
“My intention is to enlighten others about the incredible power within themselves and lead them to discover their true, eternal, blissful nature.
There truly is a power within us that no one can ever take away.
I know that this power is real and it exists, and I have gone through hell and back only to discover that I had the power all along... I just didn't know it was there or how to find it.
Now, it is my mission to share what I've learned with others.”
The Story of Saraswati
Jessica Saraswati is a meditation guide, RYT-200 yoga instructor, writer, spiritual mentor and healer. She is passionate about the power of spiritual practice and the peace that comes from living a compassionate lifestyle.
Jessica always had a nagging sense of emptiness, like a question that could never be answered, a persistent longing for something more. She searched endlessly for peace but only became more lost and ensnared in the reckless life she was living, but then something shifted...
By a wonderful stroke of serendipity and a heaping dose of good karma, Jessica ended up under the loving care and guidance of Chandresh Bhardwaj, spiritual teacher and founder of the worldwide meditation initiative, Break The Norms Movement. Chandresh and his father His Holiness Shree Chamunda Swamiji taught Jessica the sacred practices of meditation and mantra. Through this powerful spiritual training, Jessica's life changed in unbelievable ways and before long she began teaching others, and by Swamiji's grace and blessings she became Saraswati.
Saraswati is now dedicated to serving as a guide to authentic peace and power. Through the teachings of yoga and the practice of meditation, she aims to ignite the Light of higher consciousness within others and initiate a wave of radical, positive change in this world and beyond.
